About Us
Bluegreen Environmental Consultancy (BEC) was established in 2009 by
Ben Huskinson, to provide environmental monitoring and management
services to the public and private sector. When he formed BEC, Ben used
his knowledge and experience of working in the environmental sector and
proceeded to develop a partnership network of professional contacts,
which whom he has worked well with throughout his career.
By combining in-house expertise with a partnership structure, BEC is
able to manage and deliver on a range of environmental services.
We use highly skilled and experienced environmental specialists,
laboratories and technology providers.
This
means that BEC are able to provide a comprehensive, efficient
and high quality service that rivals the larger consultancy firms,
while surpassing on price through the removal of overheads.

Ben Huskinson BSc.(Hons.) Env.Sc.
Ben graduated from University College Cork with a first class Honors degree in Environmental Science, specialising in Freshwater Resoures. He also holds City & Guilds qualifications in Sound Engineering, and is Institute of Acoustics (IoA) certified in Environmental Noise Measurement & Assessment. He has over 4 years experience working within the Environmental Sector on range of projects, including:
- Coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments and EIS Production
- Design and implemention of environmental monitoring programs
- Environmental compliance management for small and medium enterprises
- River Catchment Modelling and Hydrological Assessments
- Ecological Surveys, Habitat mapping Impact Assessments and Reports
