Bluegreen Environmental Consultancy (BEC) provide advice and technical support on environmental management. We combine in-house expertise with specialist partnerships to offer comprehensive and wide ranging services to our clients. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Management & Coordination - Certain developments must be assessed for likely environmental effects before planning permission can be granted. BEC have extensive experience in the coordination and management of projects through all stages of an Environmental Impact Assessment and Statement Production. 

Environmental Monitoring & Assessment - Allows us to describe and characterise the quality of the surrounding Environment. It is mainly used in Conservation Programs, in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments and in IPPC and Waste Licence Compliance. BEC provide specialist environmental monitoring and assessment services, customised to suit any type of project.

Weir Design, Installation and Hydrological Assessments - River flow measurement and assessment is necessary for the efficient management of water resources. BEC has established a team of leading specialists and technology providers to provide a comprehensive suite of hydrological services, including weir design and installations, water level and flow monitoring, and hydrological modelling.

Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) Licensing Management - An IPPC licence is a single integrated licence which covers all emissions from the facility and its environmental management. Certain large-scale industrial and agriculture activities require Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) licensing. BEC provides management and monitoring services to IPPC licenced organisations, specialising in activities that abstract from or discharge to surface water.
