Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) Licensing
Certain large-scale industrial and agriculture activities require Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) licensing.
The activities that require an IPPC licence are listed in the First Schedule of the EPA Acts of 1992 to 2007.
An IPPC licence is a single integrated licence which covers all emissions from the facility and its environmental management.
Its aim is to prevent or reduce emissions to air, water and land, reduce waste and use energy/resources efficiently.
BEC provides specialist surveys and reports required for license application and compliance. These services include:
- IPPC Licence applications and maintenance
- Annual Environmental Reports (AER)
- Environmental Registers
